Destiny is one of my favorite games of all time. It has tight gameplay controls and truly jaw-dropping set pieces and worlds. Unfortunately, the game's story is a convoluted mess with it's own alien vocabulary to boot. If you're hoping this anthology helps you understand the world of Destiny better, then you ought to lower your expectations. Whatever they call themselves, or others choose to call them, we are forever one, for better or worse—until a new god rises and another kingdom comes. Look, I get what you're going for, but there is no getting around that the arrangement here sounds like you're saying Cayde-6 is a metal woman.
