About this deal

Chromium Chromium is a trace mineral involved in metabolic function and insulin regulation. It influences glucose (blood sugar) uptake into tissues. btw I take the whippy end off a dressage whip and put a flap of neoprene there instead to soften it, so I can use it for 'tapping' like tap-tap-tap on the shoulder when you want the shoulder to move away from you - it doesn't have that sting to it that implies 'punishment' that a standard schooling whip has. Plus it's nice if you can get one as long as possible. In this process I get a clue to her mood of the day and I suppose she gets a clue as to mine. It takes the same sequence to catch her every day. Never should it vary. Soluble Fiber Soluble fibers are easily digestible by the horse. They are broken down into sugars and absorbed from the gut. Vitamin A Vitamin A (retinol) is made from the precursor beta-carotene. It is important for vision, reproductive health in mares and for maintaining immune function.

When the mare is in season, then we'll soon know and the working session will be adjusted accordingly. She'll bronc, she'll gallop, she'll be super sharp. Menadione (Vitamin K3) Vitamin K is a cofactor for enzymes involved in blood clotting. It also supports healthy blood vessels and bone health.

Ingredients

Zinc Zinc support many metabolic processes and is involved in coat and hoof quality, immune function and metabolic health. It should be fed in balance with iron and copper. Total Enzyme Activity Total Enzyme Activity reflects the amount of enzymatic activity present in the feed. Higher enzyme activity indicates a more digestible feed. Palmitic acid Palmitic acid (C16:0) is a saturated long-chain fatty acid found in plants and animals. It has a chemical structure of 16 carbon atoms with no double bonds. Manganese Manganese is crucial for bone formation and antioxidant protection. It is also involved in maintaining healthy joints and supports the production of chondroitin sulfate.

I have owned DiDi for four years. During which time I have tried to mould her to my needs. I’ve got nowhere really. She simply doesn’t want to go pub hunting. She wants to dance in a dressage arena just like she does with the young female friend of ours who competes on her in the arena. So, she’s won me round. She has played me along. She’s got her way.Be careful with rewarding her as she comes in. Remember horses don't think like us... sometimes they don't connect the dots or they don't connect them as we logically would.. Histidine Histidine is incorporated into various proteins. It is also converted into histamine, which is important for the immune system, and carnosine. Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) Acid Detergent Fiber is comprised of cellulose and lignin. ADF is used to calculate the digestible energy of forages. Stroppy Mare is a calming supplement made up of six soothing herbs to help settle the behaviour of mares in heat. It contains: One of my mares seems to be in season all year round! Stroppy and grumpy beast she is! She has Dodson And Horrell Stroppy Mare all year round, not sure if it's making any difference but would rather buy it that mess about with testing whether it works or not for the price! It's just a tub of herbs basically, good if you want to know what's in it! Yet my other mare is the softest thing you've ever met, when she's in season she's just a flirt basically, all the weeing at the boys, tail up and whinnying away when she sees another horse, wouldn't say it causes problems but I put her onto stroppy mare too when she comes in season, settles her down a little!

Potassium Potassium is an electrolyte that help to maintain fluid volume inside cells and cation-anion balance. Exercised horses and horses in hot weather lose potassium through sweat. Don't give up, try different things, and don't forget, take a big few deep breaths, let go of the tension and show her she isn't going to rule you and that she can trust you............So, you need to readjust the relationship. You can show her that in fact, you are more dominant by you moving her feet instead of the other way around - at the moment, she's moving your feet !

Isoleucine Isoleucine is a branched-chain amino acid. BCAAs are muscle-building amino acids important for growth and tissue repair. Now, readers, don’t think I am going soft in the head. I can’t beat her, I can’t force her, I can’t even shout at her - she doesn’t respond to threats. And she knows that I know that. She never gets aggressive. She just refuses to play ball, unless she wants to play. Also you might think about what you are doing with her when you are actually working her. Can you make it less boring? Can you sometimes have shorter rides? Although I'm an English rider, I practiced barrel racing (well, barrel trotting) with my horse and it was a great break for both of us.She got noticeably better the older she became and now (at rising ten) her behaviour is far more consistent both to ride and handle. I haven't required No More Moods or any such supplement now for the last three years and doubt now that I ever will. Palmitoleic acid Palmitoleic acid (C16:1) is a monounsaturated fatty acid found in plants and animals. It has a 16 carbon atom structure with a single double bond in the ninth position. Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF) Neutral Detergent Fiber is a measure of insoluble fiber and includes lignin, cellulose, and hemicellulose. NDF is inversely correlated with feed intake. This supplement contains micronutrients that help to balance hormones, contribute to relieving muscle tension and support a calm mare.
