About this deal

Something in this, gives it a sort of coziness in the base. The oud in the this is fresh. This oud is not funky, not medicinal or fecal. To me, the saffron, woody notes and ambergris is the most prominent in this fragrance.

Versatility: 8.0 (An "all-around" versatile unisex fresh woody fragrance; That's a strange comment for an oud perfume, but Blue Oud is one of the most wearable oud fragrances I have ever tried) Over time, similar to Oud Royal the smokiness dial turns up as the jamminess recedes. Sweet synthetic sandalwood may occasionally be seen in the murky smoke, and the rose remains as a transparent vapour, following the woods to the finish. Lattafa, Your Ultimate Destination for Luxurious & Exotic Home Grown Fragrances in the Middle-east and across 61 countries of the world.Well i'm not really sure if i like or not. The bottle design i fine and also the box. Longevity is enourmous, even on skin this will last after shower soo be careful how you spray it. Projection for 10-20 minutes is room filling but after that it's just within arms reach for ~4 hours and it becomes skin scent after that. The smell for me is not really great. It's definitely strong, harsh and i mostly feel the musk. Some of my friends like it, but i would not probably wear it. However the price is pretty good and i don't regret buying it. Overall i think it is an okay beast scent, but would probably not wear it because it's too animalic for my nose.

I have been avoiding Arabian Oud scents, since I am from the middle east and it smells like every mosque ever. But one day, I wanted to get something that had Oud in it and thought Lattafa will be a good way to start since they’re affordable, right? I got this a week ago, and let me tell you I can’t stop wearing it ever since! I don’t if it’s bec it’s winter, or am I really starting to like middle eastern scents and it’s my new thing maybe, but this is really amazing and worth the try! These are different, but there are some similarities with oud-vanilla. OM doesn't have the sandalwood-patchouli drydown, and is more of an oud-praline bland along the lines of Oud Bouquet Lancome, while Opulent Oud is woodier and more along the lines of Armani Prive Oud Royal. Both have powerhouse performance.Anyway, upon opening, you are bombarded with the cinnamon bark and saffron. I hated it for the first 10 seconds, it was leaning medicinal on me. The opening is very sharp and off putting. But… give it a chance to calm down and that medicinal smell will fade. It is certainly very rich, dense and fashioned in the Arabian style and not for the faint of heart. Then you're on a long drydown journey of about 14h, longer on clothes where it continues to move around and remain interesting.

Longevity: On skin 10 (16+ hours), 9 (12-16 hours), 8 (10-12 hours), 7 (8-10 hours), 6 (6-8 hours), 5 (3-6 hours) I don't have any doubts that I get a different scent on the opening - fresh and very spicy - while it gets woodier on the base. At the top, the fragrance projects more and it's harsher than in the base. Actually, the woody scents - radiant cashmere and animal oud - kind of melt into a single very agreeable oriental woody scent in the dry down. Opulent Oud is a resinous rose-oud pair in the Middle East style fragrance, with hints of saffron, amber, and musk. It is good for the colder months and more appropriate for evening and night events. For €26, this is another beast performer with a unique scent and great projection, which can be exchanged for a more expensive niche scent. It projects gracefully for the first couple of hours, then sits close to the skin, and I keep a small bubble around me for a while, but it lasts forever. All the people that hugged me asked about what perfume I was wearing. And you, how did you spend Christmas Eve? I would say if you like spicy, woody scents then give this a shot, for the price of this you really can’t go wrong, I can see why so many people enjoy it. It’s well blended, smells expensive and definitely gives off a sexual aura but it’s not the sexy perfume for me. Again, I want to smell that rose!😩This Arabian Oud fragrance will be perfect for every occasion- birthdays, anniversaries or as a gift. Anyway, I have many bottles of SAS , but had I realised they changed the perfume, I would prefer this one. It definitely does give off a a bit of a fabric softener type of vibe, (not the overly feminine ones) especially in the dry down.
