If your pasta is cooked before your sauce has reduced, drain it (keeping a few spoonfuls of starchy water, just in case) and mix in a tablespoon of olive oil. Loaded with flavour from tomatoes, onion, garlic and herbs, I add a secret ingredient to mine to make it even more irresistible.
