i knew what he was going through and this is NOT the real Ollie at all. the whole time i was reading this scene, i felt his pain, regret, jealousy, and hate for himself. he was full of dark thoughts and it was definitely hard to read. i still love him though. he will forever be the Ollie who would read The Notebook to Mia.

She meets Ollie who is different from anyone she has ever met before because he makes her feel things. The story not only details the romance between the two, but her recovery, his mental illness, and several other characters that they hang out with. instead of just reading one book that’ll rip my heart out and have me crying for days…let me read a whole trilogy that will!!! :D because you have no idea what it’s like to fall in love with you. i’m not stupid, he’s in love with you, and he’d be a bloody fool not to try something.” he looked off for a moment before his eyes hit mine again. “let it go, love. guilt looks horrible on you. it doesn’t match the color of your eyes.” I honestly can’t say much more about this story without spoiling things. So what I will say is that this is part 2 in the 3 part story of Ollie & Mia. There is love. There is loss. There is violence. There is happiness. There is sadness. There is vengeance. There is mystery. There is suspense. There’s a little bit of everything this session at Dolor, and better yet there’s more to come.

i said i didn’t wanna give too much away, but that was a lot…trust that it doesn’t spoil much. there’s a lot more about this book than this man being absolutely perfect😩i do recommend reading this book, but again…it’s a heavy one so please be emotionally prepared and know the triggers in this book. the writing is soooo good…nicole fiorina ATE. this is a trilogy so please don’t expect a happy ending with this first book. speaking of the ending…can i just say how much i KNOW the second book is gonna hurt!?!? it’s gonna hurt a lot and i’m not ready yet🥲the only characters i love in this book are mia, ollie, and zeke. alicia and jake i didn’t mind…but the rest can go die slowly and painfully. I’M SO QUIET🤭like okay baby, whatever you say😋she starts moaning so he kisses her to swallow her cries.

I see people raving the collection of poetry by Ollie(H) in here, saying that they’re so touching and deep when really..... i don’t see it?? 👀ionnomannn. i cringed and laughed at some of them but heyy i’m no poet so what do i know 🤷🏻‍♀️ in real life, there was evil. In real life, parents couldn’t protect you from everything, and most importantly, in real life, there was pain” Nicole Fiorina is the new author to me and I'm so glad that she found me and asked me to read her debut book because she impressed me with her book and writing style. In my opinion, suspense is never enjoyable if we can see the big twist coming 10 miles before it's supposed to). However, the plot was ridiculous. It was like a soap opera meets highschool drama with a dash of insane (not the type of insane I love btw) characters. I was cringing the whole time and even guessed the climax .... correctly👀

She gave us a story with a lot of emotions that will make you cry and smile but also it will make you angry. ok i’m officially starting, i’m ready to fall more in love with ollie and am ready to protect this man at all costs🤭 This has been on my iPad for ages! Like ages! And I'm so happy I finally took that plunge and jumped in.. memories of the way she made me feel. memories of the way i’d made her feel. perfection. she’d always fit perfectly in my arms. she'd fit perfectly on top of me. there is insta love here and i really don't like this trope at all because i prefer a realistic progression but i actually find it very endearing here. and don't get me wrong, there's definitely progression but insta love is still present, especially in the H's side. this is definitely more character-driven than action/adventure type of book so if you like that, i definitely recommend this.
