About this deal

The 144Hz from 60Hz jump was a dream from a gaming perspective, especially if playing competitive E-Sports games like CSGO.

milliseconds, as measured by the Leo Bodnar Video Input Lag Tester , is the lowest we've seen to date, narrowly squeaking past the BenQ XL2420G (9. BenQ’s XL2430T is a 24-inch monitor that features a 1920 x 1080 (1080p) resolution, with a maximum refresh rate of 144hz. So, i just bought my new BenQ XL2430t and i've found this amazing forum while looking for some settings for the monitor itself. The stand has a curved design to it, separating it from the typical straight stands you see outfitted on most monitors. downstream ports mounted on the left side of the cabinet, along with an additional microphone plug and a headphone jack. The display of third-party trademarks and trade names on this site does not necessarily indicate any affiliation or the endorsement of PCMag. The XL2430 is a pretty good-looking monitor, primarily coloured matte black but with a few red accents here and there. Most displays have the ability to be tilted forward and backward as to provide a more comfortable viewing position for the user. I still don’t think it can compete with the colours/depth of my EIZO, but considering the hardware inside, I guess it shouldn’t.

We’ve tested each and every mode with all the matching scenarios as the name of the mode and we must say BenQ did a pretty good job on this as everything fits just right, very pleasurable to the eyes indeed. The colours were incredibly washed out and the image quality when sat next to my EIZO was not even half as good. Calibrating this screen is akin to your first attempt at getting a bra off in the dark while drunk, which is why its a 4 not a 5. So here I am sat with an old IIyama E2407HDS and a new XL2430T and the color difference and image quality between the two is staggering.

TN for low response time and relatively high refresh rate, whereas IPS has better color reproduction and viewing angle. Screen menu is so easy to navigate and the tool you get with the scroll wheel is great for doing this.

I mainly play CS:GO and I've tried different ICC profiles, managed to play a bit with the OSD settings and Enabled "Single Strobe" feature in the service menu but i'm still not happy with the results.Enabling this feature lowered the brightness of the display as if we have it at the lowest possible value, especially when the ‘Intensity’ and ‘Area’ level is increased.

The monitor itself is easily adjustable in height, tilt and rotation to switch from a 16:9 perspective to a 9:16 one. Here’s the BenQ Display Pilot, specially tailored for BenQ gaming monitors to allow you to easily customize the monitor to behave according to your preferred settings. Setting AMA to “Off” prevents all overdrive artifacts, however the picture exhibits a noticeable amount of motion blur during any kind of fast paced movement, which will be a nuisance to most users.

Choosing a monitor is not an easy decision to make, and not just because of the large number of variations in resolution, refresh rates, sizes and connectivity options. In terms of I/O, starting off from the left, USB mini B port for the S Switch Arc, display output ports like the DisplayPort, VGA, DVI-D, 2 x HDMI and the USB 3. If you want G-Sync, the AOC G2460PG is probably the monitor of choice… but if you’re getting a 144Hz monitor, then G-Sync is probably not the most important feature to have.
