About this deal

But you have to go quite heavy here I sparyed one on the neck left side and one on the neck right side.

I am a big fan of classic colognes, I own many others in addition to those mentioned above such as Guerlains Vetiver and Heritage, Azzaro pour homme, Caron pour un homme, Givenchy Gentleman, Blenheim Bouquet, Terre dHermes, and many others. Extremely versatile and can be worn for formal occasions such as meetings and evening dinners or casually in the warmer months. I first smelled it in 1985 when I bought a bottle of Ralph Lauren’s Monogram which had just come out. I found myself sampling it in my early teen years and feeling it was much too formal of a scent for me at that time. Armani eau pour homme is the most balanced amoung the oldschool gentleman 's colognes, maybe only dior eau sauvage is equally balanced.Acqua Di Parma Men Colonia Club Eau De Cologne is a green, musky, and slightly floral fragrance; Chanel Pour Monsieur is an elegant, musky, vetiver and citrus fragrance, classy, old-school, ideal for work environments; Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Male contains green, strong musky, animalic, and floral tones; L’Artisan Parfumeur Batucada is a marine, salty, green, and musky fragrance; L'Artisan Parfumeur Mon Numero 10 is woody, musky, floral and slightly animalic; Paco Rabanne Invictus Intense is a great performance, sweet, animalic musk, boozy, white floral and salty fragrance; Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel Men EDT is a strong musky, animalic, floral, green and mossy fragrance; Giorgio Armani Eau Pour Homme EDT is a classy, musky, mossy and green fragrance. Once Giorgio Armani Eau Pour Homme EDT has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, musky, mossy and green fragrance with spicy, woody and soft floral accords. There's not a lot more that can be said about such a controlled exercise in chypre craft, outside the fact that it avoids being a total oakmoss bomb due to it's "eau" lightness in the sillage department. It has been reformulated, and while the new edition smells wonderful, they are of the same class but altogether not a substitution for eachother. The final effect of the dry down is one that glows to a lesser extent as Eau Sauvage, but with herbs, oakmoss, and aromatic spice doing all the talking in place of any proper florals once the citrus and lavender burn off in the first few hours.

The musk is the most noticeable opening note, a dirty musk with an animalic touch; the citrus notes blend themselves into a lemony accord which is sharp and fresh. This may also be a citrus Aromatic but is nothing like Eau Sauvage, which is far more acid than Armani. I'm currently on my 2nd bottle which is the new formulation and it's very similar to the older formulation which was my 1st bottle. Dry down is slightly musky, but the overall citrus freshness is retained close to the skin as the vetiver announces its arrival. Here we have a much fresher mediterranean twist on masculinity whose sparkling opening conjures up images of lemon groves and blue Italian skies.
