About this deal

Even while they’re trying to shut down their feelings for each other and to put some distance between them, fearing for the worst, it’s impossible not to hope for them to get together—not when their chemistry and interactions always feel so light and natural. Lana Castillo - my childhood best friend and the only woman I ever loved, until I broke her heart six years ago. Cal needs to sell his grandfather’s house, in a small town in Lake Wisteria, to get access to his shares and money.

The first three chapters were the hardest to read as it kept going on and the flashbacks made no sense. My favourite part of Final Offer was the epic trip to Dreamland (the Kane family’s Disney-esque theme park), which included a princess makeover and fireworks! The fact that we had so many new tropes was something super different and good in the Dreamland universe: small town and second chance. To receive my inheritance, I was tasked with spending a summer at the family lake house before selling it.He says he decides to go to rehab for himself, but how it was written makes it seem that it's entirely for Alana and Cami. While he's always showing happiness, his reality is far from perfect—which makes getting to see his life his and fight againt his addiction, both great and painful. The added weight throws him off-balance and the three of us crash against the carpet, with him taking the brunt of the weight. my whole entire life has been one failure after another, and i'm so fucking tired of pretending it doesn't bother me. The woman voice actor reads like she’s at gun point and on the verge of tears when it doesn’t make sense.

Seeing how Cal learned to use books as a healthier way of coping with some of his mental health struggles was great to see and I think that other readers will connect with this as well. I was curious how the third act would be used with it and am very much pleased with the way Asher approached the story. with my love for Cal and the crumbs about his past with Alana, i was undoubtedly so excited for this book so i went into this with VERY high hopes and it didn’t disappoint. All I can remember about her is that she's a single mother, loves to bake, and is somehow still madly in love with an addict who walked away from her YEARS ago.The ONNLY books I've never finished are Where the Red Fern Grows because of the dogs and that one book JK Rowling wrote after the harry potter series that was like a murder mystery or some shit because it was just poorly written. Obviously from prior books, I knew of his problems going into this last one, but since he does not go to rehab until the last 80% of the book, his addiction reads as the sole villain of the story.

Book Three of the interconnected-standalone Dreamland Billionaire series by Tiktok Sensation, Lauren Asher is finally here! I know billionaire romances come with their own kind of dramatics but that is also the best part of this too.Cal gets to a motel and drinks, he either gets drunk or takes small sips of alcohol to cope with his anxiety. and i'll come back to this book, regularly, because despite all the tears i shed, cal and alana were a source of pure joy. Lauren Asher is a New York Times, USA Today, Sunday Times, Globe and Mail, and Publishers Weekly bestselling author of contemporary romance. I sincerely believe that she was abusive towards Cal, she tried to make him feel guilty all the time, and yes, Cal screws her over a thousand and one times, but the girl complains as if she had been putting up with Cal's addiction for 6 years when she was in her town doing God knows what, and this brings us to the next point. Like don’t get me wrong, I love Declan and Rowan, but I knew that Cal would be my favorite Kane brother since we saw so much of him in Terms and Conditions.
